Sport’s blogs, a tough tough arena in which to make your name on the internet.  And hey I’m doing it right now, well sort of anyway.

I don’t class myself as a sport’s blogger or do I think I will ever be a successful one (as you will find in my grammar!).  But what I do want to blog about is how tough it is to rise through the pack of sport’s bloggers, all blogging about the same topics, games, teams and players.  There are thousands of posts about the same things, on very similar sites by very similar writers.

So how do you get noticed by the big guys?  We have started a discussion on our site in our Bloggers and Writers group, so feel free to have your say: http://www.sportcodex.com/index.php/add-your-club/viewgroup/268-the-sportcodex-sports-bloggers-a-writers-group

As a sport’s fan, where do you go for your sport’s news and opinion?  Do you stick to the big sites like ESPN or Bleachers Report?  Or do you follow some amateur bloggers that have great things to say?

Wouldn’t it be great to have one place on the internet where you could get all of that in one….

Just want to share our page for all sport’s bloggers and writers to share thoughts, create discussion, ask questions and of course share their work.

The Code Master, a founder of Sportcodex, had this to ask about getting noticed:

With the thousands of writers out there and every fan giving it a shot, what’s the best way of standing out?

Social media has been great in revolutionizing the industry but it has also created a massive flux of people giving it a go.

Is a blog the better way to go or creating your own website?

What do you think?  Have your say by registering for free at www.sportcodex.com

Look forward to seeing all you Sport’s writers and bloggers on there!

Another initiative we have is helping out up and coming sport’s writers and bloggers.  Our site is unique when it comes to sports online.  We want to use this uniqueness as a platform for writers and bloggers to expand their portfolio and get noticed.

So we came up with an idea called, “Sportcodex Ambassadors”.

We already have 6 Ambassadors and are looking to add more, so keep reading if you want to know what it’s all about…

Become a Sportcodex Ambassador

We are looking for passionate sports fans out there who live and breathe their sports club or team. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved with your club and promote their success to like-minded fans especially if you are an aspiring sports writer or blogger.

So do you have 15 – 20 minutes a day to update news, upload videos and discussions about your sports team or club?

If it is a yes to the above, we are want you to become a Sportcodex Ambassador for the team or club that you love. This role will have one Ambassador per team so we will be looking for a quality person to take on an ambassador role..

And that is basically all what we are asking from you, to be active in updating the Group Page and/or Forum of your chosen club with news announcements, videos, photos or discussions on Sportcodex.

*So this is what Sporcodex will provide in return*

– A different platform in which you can launch your work. We are not like any old sports news or blog site, we are a sports social network and you will be able to receive feedback in many different ways. – Your blog or articles featured on our main page, the “Sports Hub”.

– We will promote your work via other Social Media, for example Twitter.

– Help in building your sports portfolio and online presence.

*As a Sports Fan*

– You will be the person people turn to for information or feedback on that club.

– Help promote your team or club’s online presence.

This is an opportunity for you, the ambassador of your club, to update your team or club’s page so that every fan can find the latest news, blogs and reviews for the team you are so passionate about.
